Minimum requirements are: K&N Panel Filter or AEM CAI
Walbro 255lph fuel pump

Toss a downpipe on and you can run the Stage 2!

Where do you get the new cable? I have the old tactrix but need the canbus for the 09 don't I? I Have an 09 fxt in the driveway.

You can get a cable at www.tactrix.com, however this test is for a 2009 WRX.

Any updates on the 09 stage 1? Perhaps an ETA as to when it will be released?

Within the next few weeks. As a reminder the Walbro 255lph pump is REQUIRED. Way too many cars knocking without it.

I keep crossing my fingers hoping its coming tomorrow, lol. I think i saw ur thread on nasioc on installing the fuel pump, looks simple enough. Are their any others issues that have been experienced with the stage one tune?

Not sure, i thought I had some comparisons in another thread but it's well worth the upgrade.

A question on the stage 1 map, what fuel does it require? 93 octane? 91? I currently have the stage 1 from COBB, and would be interested in any thoughts from someone who has had both, about differences in performance etc. Thanks!

91oct minimum, 93oct recommended.

One other question, it looks like it is mandatory to have a Walbro 255 fuel pump with this map, is that the case?

Yes! Too many failing pumps on 09's and lots of knock showing up top without the pump. We decided to make it a full requirement for safety!

Any chance of getting a stg 2 tuned for ebcs?
