Interesting how close my EDM map is to the USDM one eh? The biggest difference I can see is in the DBW maps. EDM version has more linear response to the pedal input where the USDM ones have very exaggerated response above about 70% pedal angle. I wonder if that has anything to do with the different gearing? The EDM car has 4.444:1 final drive ratio, as reflected in the rev/mile tables.


They may run a bit leaner in some cases. I was unaware the newer WRX's in EU came with a 4.444 as I have not had time to dive into the rom or research the vehicle yet. Can you get me some screenshots from the factory manual that shows the gear ratios/fd ratios etc..?

WRX's SADM(mine) also have 4.44 final gear!

I have been running XPT stage 2 map since october/2009 and all is going right!! 8) , and including that Costa Rica(contry I live) is like 2500ft or more from the sea.And gasoline is CRAP here.

fvs what's you ROM ID? mine is AZ1E400E

did you downloaded the USDM version and used the maps or there's a ready version for it?

WRX 2008 stage 2 with aem cai can work with catback(2.5 or 3 ") or perrin TMIC or both?

excuse the ignorance but I bought the map a few months ago but in website says stage 2 is for panel filter k&n or AEM cai and downpipe.
These mods really works with this map ? ( catback and perrin tmic)
I buy a 3 inch catback and a perrin TMIC but i have not yet installed, is recommended or safe this installation?
