only vehicle info no parameters...

I just tried to open an XPT rom for a 2002 at wrx and I go to open the rom in ecuflash and I only get the info of vehicle no actual parameters.. help is greatly appreciated!!!

That's normal, it's just setup for flashing and not editing. Editing defs for RomRaider are available in the XPT Customer forum.

what I mean is that when I open the rom I am not able to see target boost, boost control, boost control wastegate, ect...

Correct, those are only available on RomRaider. I have only added select roms to EcuFlash for editing.

but when file is opened in romraider, it gives me the message ecu definition not found.....lost...

this is what I get when I open the .hex in ecuflash not sure if it's correct or not. I don't think it's right cuz others that I open show something different...

i don't get any of the "selected roms" when opened in ecuflash...

I don't think you're understanding what I'm saying here.

In ECUFLASH you may not be able to EDIT, you can only FLASH on some of my roms.
In ROMRADIER you may EDIT with the addition of the definitions I linked you to.
