This FAQ is for Beginners and Experts. If there are any common questions missing please feel free to PM me and I'll add them in here. This should help most users looking for answers!
Q: I just purchased an XPT Map, how do I get into the XPT Customers forum?
A: Simply PM me your Order Number from the XPT Store and I will add you!
Q: I'm from another country, do you offer maps for my car?
A: Yes! I have many happy customers with EDM/JDM/ADM cars! Simply PM me your ECU ROM ID and I can help you.
Q: What are the best gauges to have while tuning?
A: Boost, EGT, Wideband O2.
Q: I'd like to have my car tuned by you, where are you located? How much?
A: I'm located in Austin, TX. Road Tunes are available on most weekends. Tunes start at $200 and usually run less than $300-350 depending on your particular mods. PM Me your mod list and I will give you an estimate.
Q: How come you don't use a dyno when tuning?
A: While dyno tuning can be a great way to see how much power a car can make, I don't drive my car on a dyno everyday. I drive my car on the street, along with millions of other people. These day to day variances may not show up on a dyno. I tune for differences in Air temp, Elevation, Load, and Heat Soak.
Q: Why don't you charge more for your maps? They are awesome!
A: I want to give something to the community at an affordable price. I want the community to learn, to explore, and to enjoy the world of Open Source. I spend a lot of my time and money developing these maps, but I have a lot of fun doing it at the same time!
Q: Will you be coming out with 100oct maps?
A: If there is enough demand I might, but there are other projects ahead of this.
Q: My RomRaider logs are coming out funky, what is wrong?
A: Make sure that you have the Regional Settings set to US if you are in another country.
